Gameplay

The war splits the nation in 1861. Sgt Cornelius M Chesterfield and Corporal Blutch return from the Bluecoats comic for a light yet faithful Civil War backdrop. Choose a starting year and try to change history or hold your ground. Each turn shifts borders as you claim states and cut supply lines.

On the strategy map you move battalions, capture capitals, secure forts and railways to grow income, and call in reinforcements from Europe. When armies meet you take direct control in real time and use infantry, cavalry, and artillery in quick clashes. Fort assaults and train ambushes switch to an immersive first person view. Play alone or face a friend with simple options that let you tune the challenge.
